As some of you may know our departure time was 6am, we wanted to start the trip with optimistic goals. But like most people, we had to face reality
and decided that 10am was more feasible and better suited our lifestyle. In the late hours on the eve of our trip we finalised our plans and decided that waking up at 10am and be on the road by 12 would allow us a good sleep and plenty of driving time. Can anyone guess what time we hit the road? Anyone?............................................... 4:30pm. The moral of the story here kids is this... Optimistic Attitudes, they don't necessarily mean you'll accomplish your goals but they're a nice cushion when you fall short.
Once on the road we went full throttle ahead using all 106 horsepower and didn't stop until we reached our first Great Canadian Landmark..... The Big Nickel, that's right my friends, this nickel is F'n HUGE!!!! Would you like to know what else is huge in Sudbury? Chimneys and rocks. That sums up Sudbury, 1 big ass nickel, 3 sky high chimneys and hundreds of massive rocks.
After playing tourist we searched all the overpriced hotels and motels and called it a night. Day 1 results were not what we aimed for, but the good news is that we're driving in the right direction and............ well that's all I got, stayed tuned friends.
S&S Out!
